Transat Québec St-Malo 2024: access to data in GRIB format

As the iconic Quebec St-Malo transatlantic race approaches, starting on June 30, 2024, SLGO wishes to provide skippers with some data sources in GRIB format.

  • Data of tidal currents in the Estuary in GRIB format (Source : Fisheries and Oceans Canada)
  • Weather data in GRIB format (Sources : Environment and Climate Change Canada)
  • Application Navigation : real-time data (observations and forecasts) to navigate the river, estuary and Gulf of St. Lawrence, including currents and tides, maritime weather, winds and wind gusts.

Important: SLGO and its various data producing partners cannot in any way be held responsible for the use made by a user party of the data to which SLGO’s website or the Navigation application gives access, nor errors or omissions that this same data may contain or direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of this data.
