Have you seen a marine mammal or a rare marine species?
The SLGO, in collaboration with the Réseau d'observation de mammifères marins - ROMM invites you to use its crowdsourcing tool for documenting sightings of marine mammals that visit the St. Lawrence and the Saguenay River. On your next walk on the banks of the St. Lawrence, be on the lookout.
Have You Seen Capelin Spawning?
As part of a joint venture with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), SLGO invites you to better document capelin spawning sites on the shores of the Estuary and Gulf of St. Lawrence by using the crowdsourcing tool to record your observations.
Have you seen a turtle?
SLGO, along with Eco-Nature, invites you to share your turtle observations by using a collaborative Web application.
Thanks to the help of observers, the Turtle Observation Network has become an essential tool to help improve the status of turtles in the Rivière des Mille Îles. The network's contribution is part of a provincial and national approach for the benefit of all turtles in Quebec.
